The service was great! Food was good, and they had a dark beer I could drink other than Guinness. I would go again

Decided to try this Irish Pub to see what all the hoopla was about. Walking in you get the 'feel' of an Irish Pub and on a Saturday afternoon at 3:00pm the place was full. Started with a Black and Tan and the bartender poured it perfectly. I had the Bookmaker, thin sliced house made roast beef, served with grilled onions & mushrooms, topped with Irish white cheddar cheese & served with a side of Au Jus. Delicious. My wife had Jester's Pot Pie a not-so traditional chicken pot pie. Slow simmered with chicken carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, peas & green chile topped with a flakey pastry crust. Bam ! Excellent. Other intriguing items in the menu are Scotch Eggs, Guinness Beef Stew, Bangers and Mash, Fish and Chips, Corn Beef and Cabbage and other Irish inspired dishes. Great job Two Fools. We'll be back for sure.

Great find here in ABQ especially when ready for a changeup from red or green sauce?!? Happening atmosphere, great wait staff taking care of you and attentive, food served fast and the drinks faster! The Guinness beef Boxty was delicious - maybe the pancake a bit over cooked? Suggestion by waitress to just get the half order was spot on - it's still HUgE!!! Double that would have been ludicrous,,, Get here early, it was 5:20pm on a Wednesday and already filling up!!

This a lovely place for a jet lagged traveler in need of a perfect pint (one of the best I've had in a long time) served with a smile and good hearty Irish fare with a twist. Friendly staff. Amicable bartender who poured that perfect pint and a lovely plate of Guinness Beef Stew. Well I'm a happy lad.

What isn't to love.. You can't go wrong with the food, ambience and service.. Total pun intended, but you are a fool to not give this place a try!

More often than not, I find fish and chips highly disappointing. Fryer was the wrong temp, the batter is poor, the fish isn't fresh, or the portion of fish is small while they give me two potatoes' worth of mediocre fries. (I personally like frites and rarely like other fries, so I wish fish n' salad or fish n' soup would catch on, but I ADHD-digress ) NOT HERE. I've been three times on three separate visits to Albuquerque over a period of 2 years...and the fish is always PERFECT. Big portion (and you can add a piece for extra charge if you've got a big appetite.) And the fries are good (probably great if you like them more than I do!) I've also had the Guinness beef stew, which was really tasty (and I'm not usually a big stew person, either.) But I don't get to go often, so it's hard to move past the delicious fish n' chips! Solid service, generally speaking, sometimes excellent. And the pub itself is pleasant and clean.

Party of 6 popped in at 1 pm on a Saturday and, although the place was really full, they found us a spot and seated us right away. Delightful server got us water, took drink orders, and got the ball rolling along. Two Bookmaker beef sandwiches, a Reuben, a burger, one Cobb Salad and a Guinness Beef Boxty. Everyone cleaned their plates, except for the massive amount of really good fries on each plate, and some lettuce from the Cobb. So... I guess only one of cleaned their plate. The Boxty guy. Anyway... it was all really good. The place looks like your typical American Irish Pub. The staff we encountered were everything we could want them to be. It is located in a neat area called Nob Hill near lots of shops, bars, and eateries. Public Transportation is right out front.

Two Fools has always been one of my favorite restaurants...a bustling Irish pub nestled in Nob Hill. My friend and I decided to treat ourselves last night and were thrilled to wait only five minutes to claim our table on a packed Saturday night...perfect!! She loved her fish 'n' chips. One piece always seems like plenty. And even though she ate a ton of the thin and crispy fries, she only got through about half of them! My Small Boxty was rich and satisfying. The rich gravy and tender meat were wrapped in a large and well seasoned potato pancake....soooo good!!! An amazing tap and bottled beer selection; a huge menu; a fun, dark wood, dimly lit, noisy Irish vibe; and a fabulous server . . . Two Fools delivers in every way!!
